Who’s Excited for the SUPER BOWL?
If you’re a fan of either team involved in the game, then you’re likely counting down the hours until kickoff, all the while avoiding anyone you see wearing the other team’s gear or logo. If you’re not a fan of either team, but a fan of the NFL, then you might still have a preference towards one side or the other. You might be rooting for the team that last beat yours so your squad looks better, or maybe you want the team that beats you to lose since they ended your season.
You don’t even have to be a fan of professional football to be looking forward to the big game. This sporting event seems to have taken on a life of its own over all other sporting events, almost to the point of being a national holiday. Many households find this day an excuse to go out and buy a new television, which is certainly one thing you need to have if you are planning on throwing a Super Bowl party.
It’s not the only thing you need, though. You’ll, of course, need enough seating for everyone you invite, as well as food and beverages. You’ll have to decide whether or not you are going to serve alcohol or permit anyone to bring it. Whether or not you want kids at the party is also another decision you’ll have to make.
On top of all this, you’ll obviously need guests. This can sometimes be the hardest thing to figure out. How many can you reasonably accommodate? Is there enough parking? Who do you invite? Friends? Family? Coworkers? Are you looking for a successful party or do you want to enjoy the company you have over?
